2020 Call of Duty: Black Ops 5: Update, Release Date & System Requirements

The first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 is expected to be launched soon this year.

It seems that after making a blast in the gaming industry over the past few years – the 2020 Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 may not be the profitable title to the gaming companies as compared to their previous publications.

The three developers—Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games may remain with two prominent development teams to work on the project.

We've discovered further in our research that the developers, who had been working on the Call of Duty franchise, will no longer be working together on the Call of Duty 2020 project.

As Kotaku reported, “Raven and Sledgehammer, which had until now led the project, will no longer be in charge."

Last year Infinity Ward presented Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in 2019 and Treyarch led the popular franchise Black Ops 4 back in 2018.

Since the development teams are no longer working on the project – Treyarch seems to take the lead as an in charge for the 2020 project—Call of Duty: Black Ops 5.

Release Date

There are rumors taking place among the fans when it comes to releasing the game. There are no promises from Activision either, but we've got hope that Activision has officially confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 will be released this year in 2020.

System Requirements

The gamers of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC can still stay in the same room as the new shooter is not expected to outstep the Black Ops tradition.

The thing to note is that while the 2020 Black Ops 5 is releasing, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are also likely to be arriving together this year.

According to sources, Treyarch can initially develop the game for the PS5 platform before they think about older platforms.
